About Tool

Tool formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, CA with original members Danny Carey on drums, Maynard James Keenan on vocals, Adam Jones on guitar and Paul d?Amour on bass. Later replacing Paul d?Amour would be Justin Chancellor on bass. Influences include King Crimson, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Dream Theater and early Yes as well as several others. An amazing list of bands that Tool has inspired is very long and impressive.
